ohmagash!! Earlier today I got invited to try out Be. Wines over on http://www.bzzagent.com. eeeek! I simply cannot describe how excited I am. I am fully aware that being this excited to receive wine is borderline alcoholic behavior but I don’t care. hahaha
I will be posting all about my wine adventure later on.😀
This was my first go at baking muffins. I’m not the best baker but I do give it a shot.
I came across this recipe and thought “I can make that!”
The recipe didn’t seem too complicated.
Here’s what you need:
1 cup strawberries, chopped
1 cup sugar, plus 2 tablespoons
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
Pinch ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon salt
1 ripe banana, mashed
2 large eggs
1/4 cup canola oil
1 lemon, zested
1/2 pint blueberries
1 cup chopped walnuts
and here are the step by step instructions:
Special equipment: muffin tin and muffin liners (I used silicone muffin/cupcake cups and lined those up with paper liners)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a small bowl, mix together strawberries and 2 tablespoons sugar. Let sit 15 minutes until strawberries give off juices.
In a small bowl, mix together flour, cinnamon, baking soda, nutmeg and salt.
In a large bowl, whisk together the mashed banana, eggs, oil, 1 cup sugar, strawberries, and lemon zest.
Mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until combined. Do not over mix. Fold in blueberries and walnuts.
Scoop batter evenly into muffin cups.
Bake until a toothpick inserted in center of muffin comes out with a few crumbs but not wet, about 30 minutes. Cool on a rack to room temperature.
Total Time: 1 hr 50 min
Prep 20 min
Inactive 1 hr 0 min
Cook 30 min
Yield: 12 muffins
This recipe is easy enough for a beginner like me
Hey yall! It wasn’t long ago when I first heard of B.B creams. (short for Beauty Balm) Hailed for their “miracle-ways” of evening out skin tones, discoloration, dullness, blotchiness and dryness . They have been a big hit for years in Japan and most recently in Europe. Naturally I was excited to try these B.B. creams for myself, since I suffer (yes, Suffer!!!!) from dark spots and uneven skin tone.
I am excited to announce that I have joined the B.B. bandwagon.
Recently, BzzAgent.com invited me to try out Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector B.B. Cream. I saw some instant gratification the first time I put the B.B. Cream on. More even skin tone and a lot smoother.
I am excited to continue using the product.
BzzAgent Maddy signing out,
Thanks for Reading!
Apparently I have a very forgettable face. I’ve introduced myself to this one person in particular at least 3 times and she still can’t remember me. She not only can’t remember my name but she will start a conversation with “hey!!!! how are you!?” and then go on to ask “have we met before” with a very puzzled look on her face.
After the first time I reintroduced myself I thought ‘okay, that can happen. We don’t see each other that often’. Now I’m starting to get annoyed! We work together! different locations but I’m the one that mails your check out! You should remember me! hahaha
My solution for this: I am going to start giving out a weird name everytime she forgets me.
Here’s an example:
Her: Hey! How are you? …Have we met??
Me: No, I’m Felluligan Feinstimper. Nice to meet you!
Okay, that is all. I’ve got nothing more to share. Just wanted to vent.😀
Over the holidays I got bored and decided to play around with some nail polishes and designs.
Here is an example at my amateur work.
I started with a pink base…
I then took my Sally Hansen art pen and drew some little hearts and stars. Ended with a clear top coat and voila!
I am so excited to start a new year even though I don’t have as much as some others to show for 2011. I feel different and I am ready to conquer new hurdles! Who knows, I might even consider going back to school A girl can always dream, can’t she?
I usually feel the holildays as somewhat of a drag. Always having to be extra polite and what not. This year, however, I kind of feel like “who cares!” I’ve decided to just try to make myself happy. I will be taking that philosophy with me in 2012.
I’ve got some product reviews!!!
As you know, I am a BzzAgent and have tested their Smarterer campaign. I was pleased and amused for a few minutes. Might not be completely my style but I did enjoy it. It’s essentially just fun quizes and tests to take on your down time to see how much of a certain thing/subject you know.
Also, I tested, reviewed and tested and reviewed Private Selection’s frozen foods line. I tried their frozen pizzas, appetizers and desserts. By far, my favorite was the desserts! Pizza was a bit soggy in the center, appetiers were good but the dessert was deeelicious! I definitely will be purchasing more.
Just wanted to share the bzz about http://www.bzzagent.com/
Earlier this year I joined BzzAgent and have had nothing but good experiences. I urge you to take a look at their website and join. They are a social marketing company. Basically, major companies hand over a bunch of their products (ie: sodastream, makeup, dog food, grocery products and much more), BzzAgent then hands those products onto us(the BzzAgnets) as “free samples” if you will, for us to try out, taste and what have you…we in return, give them our honest feedback, they pass that on to the companies. it’s a win-win-win situation
At the moment I am expecting some Hills Science dog food for my doggie and i just tested the truly awesome homestyle cookie….I also have a Private Selections campaign pending. All greatness all the time. Join BzzAgent.
